Coffee and a Kiss at the Beach

 By Mrs BDenied

Well. I have delved into a new adventure.  It has been percolating for some time.  Hubby & I go to some clubs for music & dancing to listen to a band that has quite  a following.  Many of the same faces show up to listen and dance.  There has been one fellow that  stands off to the side listening and watching.  Not bad looking & in shape, but not overly so.    Hmm.   We exchanged glances from time to time.  Hubby told me he knew the guy had been locked on to me.   I smiled at him a couple of times and once had the courage to ask his name.   I guess he got my name from others around us. He seemed rather shy around everyone.

I am on  the infamous Facebook, and reeived a friend request out of the blue.  I recognized him, so accepted. We messaged back & forth for a while.  But was obvious he was VERY interested. He was very flirty & obviously so.  That  Scared me at  first, but it was respectful so I kept it going .

We could see we both like the beach, which we do live near.   After much obvious flirting on line, we decided to meet at the beach to catch the sunrise and take some  sunrise photos. He suggested a walk on the beach & asked if he could hold my hand.  I said I wanted to go slowly & got a "yes m'am" response.   It would be, for me, like a meet & greet to explore the chemistry face to face, and he was acting like a gentleman.   We also agreeed to keep things on the "QT"...which makes things more exciting. Hmm. So far so good.

The meeting for the beach was perfect timing.  He had to get home to get ready for work, so was just enought time to do a meet & greet.

I decided I would not let him know that hubby knows all about what was transpiring.  But of course, hubby knew all about it.  Listening to the plans to meet up at a certain time.  Hubby felt comfortabe with me meeting and even hooking up with him should I so choose.

The fellow requested I text when I was leaving, which I did. We got to the beach and parked. We got out & I walked up and gave him a hug. He hugged back an we briefly kissed.  Walking down the tropical path to the beach, he put his arms around my shoulders.   We each had a thermos of coffee.(so we are not only beach lovers, but coffee hounds :) )   We sat side by side talking, watching the waves &  cloudy sunrise.  We noticed a rain shower not too far away & he said it looked like we were soon to get some  rain.  He had his arm around my shoulder, never going any lower.  I sat closer & kind of snuggled against him to let him know everything was good.

We looked at each other & leaned in for a nice kiss. A real kiss.   Was just one, but he liked it. He said meeting on  a weekend would be better, since he did not have to work. I said that would work out better.  So basically, a second meeting was already set up. He said I could pick him  up at his place & go to the beach together in one car.  I said that sounded like a good idea.

Again for me, was perfect timing, becaue it started to sprinkle.. He said the rain is about here. But before it rained he snapped this photo of me sitting on the sand.

I have it cropped a bit so you can get a good look at what you men really like to see.  We got up & had to run back up to where the cars were parked in a downpour.   We did a quick kiss & hug, got in our cars & drove off. I wa soaking wet, hair dripping.

When I got home, I had a last text from the new fellow that he was home, sitting in his car in the pouring rain thinking about that good kiss.

It was an adventure that may be continued.
